Comments in the various copies of this on YouTube state that there were four individuals in the VBIED, three were to exit and shoot up the checkpoint with small arms and the driver would attack with the IED-laden vehicle. I didn't see anyone escape the car, but hard for me to tell.

You can also see civilians running from the scene, but comments say seven Egyptian civilians were killed by the delayed explosion.

Looks like an M-60 to me.
