Group buy on Metalforum magazines?
It seems someone has decided I don't need any .38 Super mags. I've been waiting on Natchez to get McCormick mags in for months, but they're still out of stock.
I've read good reviews on Metalforum mags. Some people have said they make McCormick mags and perhaps others. I don't have any personal experience with them, but I'm considering buying some.
If there is enough interest, we can put together a group buy. The first price break is at 40 mags., but the second is at 400, so if we do this, we'll be dealing with the second tier prices. Here is the link to Metalforum so people can check prices and mag. styles.
If you're interested, please post here and let me know how many you want. I don't need model numbers yet, I'm just trying to see if there is enough interest.
Chas.

Charles I'd be interested in 4 7 round .45 mags.
BTW - - - CDNN has MecGar .38 super nickle mags on sale for $14.99. I have MecGar mags for five different guns they work like a champ. I don't think you would go wrong with MecGars.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

I would be interested also, however has anyone considered checkmate magazines? I can provide contact information for Jackie with checkmate if you desire. I am involved in a group buy with each company on another forum that has not gone well at all. The metalform GB was initially delayed by a shortage of one style of magazine from metalform.
I may possibly be interested. Would the bulk order allow us to mix sizes?
It would also depend on the cost per magazine. I have seen magazines sell for anywhere from $13 to $30 for what I shoot. That's a significant price difference.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

That's my biggest fear and why I haven't done this before now.G.A. Heath wrote:I would be interested also, however has anyone considered checkmate magazines? Metalform some years ago woke up and discovered they were "giving" their mags away and reviewed their price structure.
I sure wish I'd bought 100 back when.
