Any PSC Members own a Kimber Ultra Carry?

Post by JasonH »

Hey all,

It has been 35 days since my CHL application was sent off so the day (hopefully) when I get my license is quickly approaching.

I usually prefer to shoot a gun before I buy it. In the past week I've rented and shot several over at the Top Gun range that would be good carry options (Glock 26, 27, etc).

However, they don't rent Kimbers and I'd really like to try one of the Ultra Carries out as I'm considering it as a carry option.

If somebody here has one and wouldn't mind meeting me down at PSC with it I'd be happy to bring along the ammo and buy you lunch afterwards.

If I'm gonna spend a grand on something I'd like to test drive it, ya know?

Also, technically I guess you wouldn't need to be a PSC member since I'm allowed to have up to two guests with me.

Thanks!

There is Texas CHL Forum day. You will be there won't you? I will gladly let you check out my Ruger or Berreta.

Marc and I plan to be at PSC around 4:30 this afternoon (Sunday), weather permitting, and I can bring my wife's for you to try. If you want to do this, send me a PM and I'll give you my cell number to confirm.

We're going to be on a cruise that weekend so we can't attend unfortunately.

Charles, thanks for the offer but the boss (woman) has plans for me this afternoon. Any other time on a weekend or after work on a weekday would work, though. Just let me know the next time you plan on being down there and I'll make it work.

Thanks!

The PSC IDPA match is next Saturday and we can take some time to let you shoot it then, if that works for you.

That sounds perfect.

Send me a message with what brand of ammo you want me to pick up for it and what time you'll be there.

Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it.

Don't worry about ammo; I'm not running short.

But, please send me a PM on Friday to remind me, or I'll forget the Kimber for sure!
