DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast

Re: DFW North/NorthEast Quadrant Breakfast
I put it on my calendar as a recurring event. I'll be working the weekend of the 14th next month and it looks like the first North/NE quadrant breakfast I won't be working isn't until January.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

I have the date and place penciled in on my calendar. Unless a last minute home crisis occurs, I plan to be there.

SIA, Thanks for dropping by there - did you ask about setting space aside? I will show up early that morning and make sure we have enough seats together.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:Recently I checked out the Starwood Cafe. It is not posted with 30.06 or 30.07,
so I say that all of us who want to open carry should just "assume the sale" and show
up OC'ing.
The day I dropped in they seemed to have a lot of servers, so we should be able to
get timely service.
The date is Saturday, 10/14/17, 800 AM. Be there, or be square.
A few local board members who might attend: The Annoyed Man, flightmare, greybeard, chasfm11....more!

I would love to make it but just too far to drive, if there was ever a meetup east there sure would be a few great places, with the nicer weather possibly Bass Pro with the outside eating area (lunch) or farther the Caddo Mills ares qith nice reasonable place to eat and range very close by

On Saturday's morning I have pistol competition, more specifically, Real World, Personal Protection Match, and Action Matches. However, for one time only (first Frisco meet). I can skip one match.

That’s the 1911 style match that you’ll miss.Beiruty wrote:On Saturday's morning I have pistol competition, more specifically, Real World, Personal Protection Match, and Action Matches. However, for one time only (first Frisco meet). I can skip one match.
Gun control is like stopping drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to drive.

Geekwithagun:
No, the day I went in there to scope it out the female manager was out of the place
for a moment, so I didn't ask about setting aside room.
When you think about it, since we don't know the headcount until we show up, it
would be hard to ask to set aside room for <nn> people. :-)
I was going to ask about open carry, but then I just left.

6 more days, sports fans, until the breakfast.
This location roughly splits the difference for people who live between I-35W/I-35E and US 75.
See you there.

What's the plan when we get inside? Do we have an area set aside, do we just sit by the entrance, do we look for a giant texaschlforum banner...
