Teacher sues for the right to take her pistol to school

Post by SC1903A3 »

This is a very interesting article. She's filing for divorce, has a restraining order against her husband and has concealed carry permit. School policy says no guns. Oregon state law says "any element relating to firearms and components thereof, including ammunition, is vested solely in the Legislative Assembly." Her lawyer believes this also relates to the fact since she is licensed to carry the school district can't limit a right granted by the state.
