Prayer Request for Dying Aunt

Post by Excaliber »

My 93 year old Aunt Marge, who is the last surviving member of my parents' generation and has been in a nursing home for 12 years, is under hospice care in New Jersey. Her nurses have informed me that she is no longer able to take in either nutrition or liquids. Unless something changes she will pass within two or three days.

Marge has been a faithful and devoted Christian all her life, and spends much of her nursing home time praying. It's now time for her to go home.

Please join me in praying for her peaceful and pain free passing into the hands of the Lord.

I have prayed for a peaceful passing for Marge and for comfort for your family. It's so comforting to know she is a believer and will soon be with Christ.

Prayers said for your Aunt and for comfort for you and your family. Just the fact that she will soon be in the presence of her Lord, is a blessing to all believers. May her legacy and testimony effect all who know her.

Praying that the Lord will take her home peacefully and swiftly.

Thank you all very much for your prayers.

Margaret went to join the Lord shortly after 7:00.

May she rest in peace.

She's rejoicing in the presence of Jesus! While your family will miss her, it's difficult to mourn when a Christian has taken their last labored breath of this fallen world and entered the glory of Heaven.
