Gun Buy-back (of gun they never had any claim to in the first place)

http://fortworthtexas.gov/news/2017/12/PD-gun-buypack/

Give up an unwanted gun, get a free shopping card
Posted Dec. 6, 2017
In an effort to get firearms off the streets, the Fort Worth Police Department has implemented a gun buyback program. The next opportunity will be noon-4 p.m. Dec. 9 at All Saints Catholic Church, 2006 N. Houston St.
Anyone who brings an unwanted gun will receive a $50 Visa card, no questions asked. Funding for the program comes from seized assets.
Buyback organizers ask that firearms be brought to the event unloaded.

I think I'm going to drive over there with a bunch of $100 bills in my pocket and get some great deals.

When those fail, aim for center mass.

I recall one in Philly where they took an Assault Flintlock off the streets. I assume it would've been a great collector's piece.

PD RAN OUT OF GIFT CARDS AT 12:30.
So the handful of buyers at the gate had their choice of anything after that. One guy bought a 9mm derringer for $50. Another bought a 380 with a box of Ammo for $40
