This is the big major headline on Drudge this morning.
However a small comment, by a reader maybe put it in perspective. There is a gun show downtown in Houston this weekend.
I have not confirmed that, but it was just three guns.

Gun show at the George R Brown Convention Center yesterday & today.
Another commenter mentioned competitions in Houston area this weekend as well, but I haven't seen a link to that in my limited Google search. If it was indeed a rifle, a pistol, and a shotgun (not really a small arsenal in my book, but I don't get to choose which adjectives the media uses...), then it could have been for a Three Gun match.

I didn't find anything alarming in the report at least until I saw the tweet:
A SWAT team is going to be watching overthings. Great.!!!!@ChiefArtAcevedo
Situation from this morning at downtown hotel is contained. No specific threats to @HoustonTX. @houstonpolice will be heavily deployed throughout the city to include SWAT react teams. Proud of officers & Hyatt. As always be vigilant & report suspicious a activity to authorities.

Btw- We had reservations at the Hotel for NYE but cancelled last week due to other conflicts. For those unfamiliar with the Hotel it has a 29 story atrium with a view down on the main lobby floor from every floor. On NYE the lobby floor is packed with hundreds of partiers dancing, etc.
It is useless for the Sheep to circulate petitions calling for universal vegetarianism while the Wolves hold a different opinion.
