This is why I would like to find a dash cam with GPS tracking capability. Every one I've seen that looked like it was worth having was just too expen$ive.

I will have to try this to protect myself in the future.
That is one of the reasons that for the last 17 years I have been using programs from DeLorme on my laptop with a GPS receiver to record my trips. However Garmin bought DeLorme last year and will not sell anything DeLorme except a emergency package with a Text only Sat Phone. The will also not service ANY Delorme programs or equipment.

I strongly suggest to NEVER buy ANY Garmin products.

I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

:iagree:

When I traveled all the time for work, Streets Atlas was what I used. I even bought a little 9" laptop to run it. It was far more capable than Microsoft Streets & Trips.

I was experimenting a little more today and tonight figured how to export a track/trip/file in a .kmz and .kml formats.

Yup. I also figured out how save and view saved trips on the app’s map and zoom in to pinpoint locations along the route. Very cool app.
