Under the new law that took effect on Sept. 1. 2007

Post by mkim1120 »

while i was in the CHL class a few weeks ago they instructor discussed the new law that was passed on Sept 1. 2007.

under that law it more clearly stated about NON CHL people carrying weapons.

now my question is...
FOR NON CHL HOLDERS:
is it legally okay to carry a loaded weapon in your vehicle as long as it is concealed?

or

is it only legal for a business owner to carry a loaded weapon from home, to the car, to the car to his place of business, to his business to his car, and back home?

please clarify for me
thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

Here is a related thread:

A search for "HB 1815" will bring up much more.

Yes, it is now "clear" that ordinary citizens may carry (concealed) in their vehicle (some restrictions apply).
Spartans ask not how many, but where!
