I bought a Used Glock G-23

Post by Bill »

As I have said before they are plain UGLY, but so is my XD sub , However this gun was recommended to me, and that It might be a good idea before I shoot 2500-3000 round in a couple of weeks to have one. I went and rented a G-19 last week and it was easy to get used to, similar to the XD in some ways. The trigger is not as clean but I shot just a little better, I was able to hit the big white thing at 7ft.

I also bought 5 G-19 mags because I bought the 9mm barrel. Got the Galco Concealment holster in tan and extended mag release. I will order a 357 sig barrel for carry and a set of Big Dot sights. I should be GTG.

Now I must sell the Baby Eagle or my Norinco 45

Nice choice Bill.

They're only ugly until you start appreciating them. Then they become very beautiful.
I have the means to buy a very pretty gun, but I'll take the 23 over just about anything.

The trigger on your gun can be made smooth with minimal effort. I have one with a smooth 2# trigger and my favorite with a smooth 4# trigger. There are volumes written on improving the Glock trigger.

This is by far the most popular method that requires a very small investment. It also serves as a basic reference for detail stripping your gun:

Good luck and enjoy your 23.....they are awesome pistols.
