Gun rusting after one day

You could always get a Glock. They won't rust, and even if they do, you won't care. It would just make it look different, so by definition, better, and nothing can stop a Glock from functioning. Or so they say.

All I can suggest is wetting all the metal surfaces with oil and wiping off the excess after reassembly. Maybe look for a good gun oil rather than an all-in-one CLP, though CLP's can be pretty good. Also, just strip it down and clean it more often.
