If you look closely at the video, you'll see keys at each voting keypad. They do little good if the reps leave their keypads unlocked.Paladin wrote:They could get "keys" for each desk. That way there can only be a vote if a key is used.

Geez, and they say Louisiana is corrupt. All Southern (and the rest of the country too) states are now run by a bunch of self serving Federal stooges and elitist goons.
What this amounts to, is Republican A is voting for Democrat B so that Democrat B's antigun (or whatever) vote is cast while he was not there for business. And our so-called "conservative" representative is there helping him do it.
Each representative is supposed to be representing his district himself, not getting representation as a favor for his buddy across the isle.
I've lost all faith in our system, it is so far from the system of our forefathers that it is unbelievable. Our leaders, when all is said and done, with few exceptions (I.E. Ron Paul) are in it for themselves and don't have any real principles. Whether they lable themselves Democrat or Republican, they all ultimately think that life could not exist for the rest of us if they weren't in office and keeping the government (Federal, State or local) busy, big and bothersome.

Forum Rule 11: wrote:11. Off-topic posts/threads: We do not have an off-topic forum because they tend to cause the most problems for any board. We have gotten rather lenient in allowing off-topic posts, but this has become a problem in recent months. At this point, we are not going to prohibit off-topic posts, but please observe these guidelines. Off-topic posts must be at least remotely related to one of the topics listed in the titles of the sub-forums or their descriptions. This does not apply to prayer requests or LEO Bloopers, but it does apply to LEO Encounters. If a LEO encounter didn't involve a CHL matter, then don't post it. (This has been one of our more troublesome subjects in recent months.) We will continue to evaluate the off-topic post issue in the coming months.
