Pink shotgun for Christmas?

Post by KBCraig »

Gander Mtn. is offeringa special edition Remington 870 Junior in 20 gauge with a pink laminated stock. Pink hat included.

(The link above, and the comments, are rather dismissive of the idea. They have no idea how many girls have been getting pink Crickett rifles.)

Agreed,

They may have to eat those words.

If those had been available when my daughter was learning to shoot, she would have jumped on it.

:iagree: My 6yo daughter isn't ready for a 20ga. yet, but I expect to hear from her on this topic sooner rather than later...

That reminds me of this:

I think the pink shotgun is a great idea, especially with the hat thrown in. It is kind of the exact opposite of the EBR.

They can not keep the pink Criketts on the shelf, and folks make fun of that idea all the time.

I think that once the word gets out on these, they will go like hotcakes.

Please don't tell my wife. She already has a pink faux alligator hide pistol case to carry her G26 in. She picked it up at the NRA show in STL.

That is pretty sweet! The only thing better would be if they made a FULL sized one for us for grown up girls!

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

You have a kalashnikitty t-shirt?! Where'd you get it?

I ordered it directly from the artist. I posted the link in the "Ladies - General" forum on Sept. 1st, and there's also a link in my post just above.

It was a limited production, based on how many pre-orders were received before Sept. 15 - but it's always possible that they had a few "unclaimed" t-shirts left over. Might be worth an email.....
