You should be worried about drug use in US. Let us have a common sense measure and ban all drugs!

Car crashes are the number one killer of teens. In 2015, the year of the most recent data, there were 3,327 teen motor vehicle deaths – more than homicide, more than suicide.

Yet none of the progressive socialists want to ban cars.

You don't need to ban cars to make them safe. A 40 mph max speed limit would drastically reduce deaths. Getting places faster is worth safety, apparently.

But the thing is, that's a reasonable position. We don't need to limit a driving practice which is only rarely dangerous unless deliberately misused; rather, we need to limit and exclude drivers who do so in a demonstrably dangerous fashion. WRT guns and cars, tiny fractions of users cause enormous amounts of morbidity and mortality.

The anti-gun movement has NOTHING to do with saving lives or SAFETY, it has to do with POWER. Those who have the ability to defend themselves have the power against tyranny and keeps folk in check. Once the populace is disarmed, then they are controlled. Those who seek this could care less who lives or dies, they just use tragedy to push their agenda. Once everyone gets this through their thick skull, then they will start to understand.

unfortunately too many people have already been brainwashed by the liberal agenda and think that guns are bad. Guns have been around for upward of 200 years and law abiding gun owners have been around for just as long. if guns or gun owners were the problem it wouldn't be a 'recent development'. like you said its about power and control. you cant control a people who can defend themselves.
