Holster options for a PT111MP

Post by 1TallTXn »

I have been looking around for some options to carry my Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro.

I currently have a Uncle Mike's IWB open holster that I carry the PT in most of the time but would like an option for something more dressy. I can't tuck a shirt in over the uncle mikes w/o the gun being visible.

A friend loaned me a Pager Pal to try and I carried in that for the last couple of days and I just don't like it. I don't normally carry a pager/cell phone on my belt so thats part of it, but I just don't like the way the holster rides.

I have looked at a SmartCarry, but really like the IWB holster setup.

I've checked all the local gun shops and the only thing had was ankle holsters and IMO the PT111 is a little big for my ankle but I am open to the option.

Not sure about the belly band option as I'm pretty much a stick. not sure if it would conceal well enough or if I would be able to keep it in place.

If you have any suggestions, links, whatever i'm more then open to the options.

Thanks!

I say you need a 6 inch Ruger Super redhawk .44 mag and a super big fanny pack! Then again, just put on a few pounds to let the fat hang over that IWB.

I can hide it fine in the IWB, but it would be nice to have another option that I could wear with a shirt tucked in.

Oh, and if you are going to give me that Ruger then I'm fine to take it ;-)

This brings us back to the options from the Spy Musium. Doesn't Keltec make those that are meant to be hidden in tight spots?
