I was thinking that the anti's must have gotten the message out to watch the % drop they way it did. It seems most of the polls in the past few years about gun control or carrying have been almost 70% in favor of freedom. To see this one drop the way it did, appears to be influenced by the uninformed.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

So from 9:30 at night to 8:40 this morning, 1679 additional votes were cast and in that time frame 658 votes were cast as 'Yes' and 1021 votes were cast as 'No'. Either there was a voting bot turned on for a bit that could spam votes by deleting cookies, voting, deleting cookies, voting, etc. Or more likely there were / are people on the west coast (where is would have only been 7:30pm) voting in the poll.

8407 votes, 51% yes.

I wonder how many of these votes came from outside Texas.

Voted.

52% to 48% with 8946 votes. With these last rounds of elections and the closing of the margin in this poll, maybe the border we should be wathing is the California border.

While both of those are possible, I think you're underestimating the number of people in Texas that are flat out anti-gun or pro-gun but anti-unlicensed carry.

I swear that last time there was a bill that created 30.08 and 30.09 for Unlicensed carry... so that some store owners who are nutjobs would have to take up all of their storefront space with ugly signs. I really liked that.

Whatever we do, we need to change the wording of 30.06 and .07 again to make every sign currently posted null and void.

That's what happened to 30.06 when 30.07 was created.

If your on a VPN, you can change servers and vote multiple times.
So, these polls are kind of useless.
