"Thud Pilots" Movie
I watched this movie, "Thud Pilots" on Amazon last night. I highly recommend viewing it. It exposes how LBJ and Robert McNamara deliberately and continuously sent brave F105 pilots to their deaths in a war they never intended to win with their rules of engagement.

Yeah this was one of a perfect storm of blunders and worst case circumstances for conducting the Vietnam War. I put these rules of engagement up there with the continual stream of corrupt, totalitarian, and inept stream of leadership pervasive on the stage South Vietnamese political theatrics.

I watched this about a month ago. It was disgusting how that administration micromanaged the war from the safety of DC.....which ended up setting the tone going forward for how subsequent wars would be managed.
