April 19: This day in American History

Post by philip964 »

1775: The shot heard around the World. The battle of Lexington and Concord.

1933: The United States went off the Gold Standard.

1993: The FBI raid on the Branch Davidian Compound and the resulting fire where more than 80 died including many children.

1995: The bombing of the Alfred P Murrah federal office building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma killing 168, including 19 children

1999: The school shooting at Columbine High School, where 14 teenagers and one teacher died.

You will only hear about one of these today. Most will have an anti gun agenda.

Oops.

Columbine was a day later.

Sorry.

The MSM began “celebrating” the tragedy on Friday to gather a bigger audience. It led me to believe it was on the same day.
