If I never ever have to use it for the rest of my life, I'll die a happy man...

Like he said, its a choice...And if I have to choose to carry and deal with a hunk of metal...errr, piece of "combat tupperware" on my belt during that time...So be it...

The reasons do go a bit farther than that...But thats another thread...

I'm actually shocked that the Comical printed this...There must have been something in there that they liked...Which has me concerned...

letters to the editor

I check out the letters to the editor in the comical on a regular basis.

From time to time they have Pro-rights letters. They have even published a couple of letters from folks I know. DS a local PSC IDPA SO that works for a sporting goods store has gotten a couple of letters published.

They also publish Anti-rights letters from Dave Smith. Dave is (or was) the president of a local Anti-Rights orginization.

(Notice how I framed the issue so they look bad and we look good)

After spending most of my life in California teaching school, I moved to Houston and selected Westbury to be near family and for the inexpensive housing. I can ride my bicycle in the mornings or walk through the neighborhood for needed exercise with peace and a feeling of safety.
I lived in Westbury around 80-81. I never got any feeling of safety there. I didn't like it there at all.
