Why do we have to pick which rights we wish to support?

I take a lot of pride in not being there either. :biggrinjester:

I’m no longer going to have to deal with this mess. Our AC decided to give out, and they will be replacing it on Saturday. I’m not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but my wallet is going to be a lot lighter. My wife has threatened me with ramen for a while.

This is an awful lot of worrying about invalidly posted public property that carries a max $200 fine.

It's a public street for crying out loud. We paid for it, we can carry on it.

Even though one never broke any laws.
What about carrying concealed makes it more likely to get illegally arrested by a crooked cop and have charges made up against you, presumably by a crooked Harris County DA? :evil2:

I am confused. Will there be a defined area where they are having the parade and is that defined area blocked off some way. Will you have to go through gates to get to an area to observe the parade? What if you own a business on one of those streets....can they not allow the business owner to carry his handgun with an LTC? What if you are doing business with that company and have no intention of going to the parade? Can they legally search your vehicle without consent just because you are going about your business in proximity to the parade? How can they post 30.06/30.07 to include my business, my house? There are condo unit downtown. How will that work?

I think I have answered my own questions. The parade itself is probably not posted but the festival grounds will be. It is a city park (not very big) and I suspect that is where they will wand and possible have metal detectors. There is no way they can block off or have checkpoints all along that route without massive Police and security assets to man those checkpoints.

Good question!

We should stop voting for incumbents if we can't carry concealed while voting. :evil2:
