Do you own an AK-47?

Post by lawrnk »

I own a Norinco AK that I love. I'm think about one of the AK style pistols. Wikipedia says 100 million AK-47's were made since its inception. I rarely see them at the range. I'm just curious how prevelant they are on this forum.

Nope....to heavy and bulky for what they do.....I use a AR15.

But, I gotta admit, If I WAS going to be rolling around in the mud and sand, I would really be wishing my AR15 was an AK!

An AK 47 is a fully automatic select-fire assault rifle. Are you asking about semi-auto AK clones?

I've been considering getting one. Mostly just to get to know how to use one.

I voted no, but you need a fourth option: No, but I plan to/would like to get one in the near future!

I've been wanting to ask about AK clones.
Which are good? Which should be avoided?
I'd like to get one before the next election in case Der Hildabeast gets in!

Fifth option would be no and I never plan on buying one.

All the clones are hit n miss

I got my WASR-10 (romanian clone) and I got a good hit..its 100% reliable and shoots rather accurately even with the ultra garbage WOLF ammo

I really want to get the black composite stock (its a bit longer and looks better)

I have a Norinko SKS I got at a pawn shop for $90 bucks..so I can feed both of em on the same ammo

Truth be told I would rather have a M-14 over either the AR or AK

My M-16A2 in the USMC never gave me a problem...and I beat the ever loving heck out of it! If I get a AR it will be a no frills no spills M-16A2, carry handle and all (none of this goofy rail junk)

+1, or any SKS or AK clone of any sort.

although it would kinda cool to own an ak-47, only cause there full auto.

have you ever seen the movie Lord of War, with Nicholas Cage. based on true events. then youd see where all those millions of AKs went.
