In Dallas the one on Forrest Ln by 635 has had uniformed officers there for years. So some have and some haven't well before the shooting. I haven't been into any that didn't already have them to tell you one way or another if they've made a change company wide.WTR wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2019 4:35 pm Has WalMart in other areas other than El Paso begun stationing a Police Officer at the entrance? I went to a Sams in El Paso yesterday and they had both armed security and an El Paso Police Officer stationed.

I haven't seen one in Carrollton or Lewisville yet.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Re: WalMart
My son is a detective in East Texas. He works every Saturday and Sunday for 12 hours each at Walmart. He has been doing that for a couple of years.
About three years ago he worked the one on Terrell during Christmas because they were short handed for police. He was paid $50 an hour.
