Just found this, but you have to act fast. It expires dec 1st.(today or tomorrow)..... www.cdnnsports.com .....they have a browning 1911 380 on sale for $349.00 from a regular price of $629.00, but you also have a rebate on it for $100.00 making it basically $249.00. They are located in Sevierville, Tennessee.... sorry for the short notice but I just found it myself.

Re: Great deal for new gun
just looked again and apparently they're sold out on that model. but they have other brownings on sale in the 1911 380's. I think they're good deals also.???

Re: Great deal for new gun
CDNN is based out of Abilene last I knew and these 'Brownings' are made in Utah.
They look good but feel pretty light. Had one student who shot one. Over the course of a 2hr class the gun disassembled itself. First the front sight departed, easily fixed, and then the take-down lever departed which was more entertaining. Could have been a lemon, but that soured me on them.
Ton of interesting deals though with more to come. Those $25 Bear Creek* stripped uppers that Primary Arms was selling was hard to pass up.
* wonder if they've started using E-Verify now?

Re: Great deal for new gun
I always thought browning was a good gun. Maybe not. I just saw this sale and for those that know and like browning guns well there they are. Buy and shop wisely. They must have been doing something right, they've been in business a long time. I personally don't own a browning. I almost bought one of these for my wife but chose a walther pk380 instead.

Re: Great deal for new gun
I own a Browning 725 shotgun, made in Japan, and love it. The old Brownings are terrific. Not sure what is up with these American made 380s. They do look good but feel very under-built to me. Put your hands on one if you get a chance and decide for yourself.

Re: Great deal for new gun
I own one and was a bit disappointed to find out that the frame was not metal. However, once I took it to the range I really enjoyed shooting it. I have not had any problems with it whatsoever, but have read about the many issues that others have had. Turns out it may have been a bad magazine design. When I found this deal on Wednesday, I could not pass it up and ordered one of the two-tone models.
