They have no one to blame but themselves...

That "would" have been a nice one if they had made it...

That deer used the Jedi "mind trick" and mesmerized that poor dude.

"You don't want to shoot me...you want to aim your rifle towards my general vicinity from a distance of twenty yards ;-) ...you will take aim at that pile of dirt to my right, and fire three consecutive shots which will impact no closer than three feet away from me...I will then run away chuckling to myself, while you head home and begin to reconsider your purpose in life..."

Exactly!

No doubt his scope was off.

Point of impact on the first two shots were very close to one another suggesting he didn't "pull it".

I can't help but feel sorry for the guy.

He pretty much tells the story with his utterance "Gaaaaawd".

I bet the deer thought it was cool to hear the bullets whizzing by. Stoopid hunter. Always check your scope settings BEFORE deer season starts. Or maybe he figured having it "bore sighted" was good enough?

You call that hunting?! Looks more like shooting fish in a barrel....or should I say....shooting ~at~ fish in a barrel.
