Reid's family revealed Harold passed Friday from his long fight with kidney failure.

My Dad was a big Statler Brothers fan. We used to watch their variety show on television. Flowers on the Wall got me into their music, and their tight harmonies hooked me. Harold Reid’s iconic bass voice was the platform for that harmony. Sad to lose these real musicians and vocalists that could really play and sing.
