Kel-Tec shortage?

Post by LDB415 »

What's up with the Kel-Tec shortage? I watched an episode of one of the gun shows on TV that was very positive. I checked both Gallery of Guns and Bud's websites and they had a total of zero pistols at either supplier. Why such a shortage? According to the show they made about 15,000 firearms per month last year. They only made rifles and shotguns? The aliens needed huge quantities of small handguns?
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

A pistol without a round chambered is an expensive paper weight.

It's not a Kel-Tec shortage, it's a run on guns, ammo and paper products, that's been going on for a couple months. 15,000/mo doesn't go far when there are several million new gun buyers in the last 3 months, plus all the repeat customers. :fire

Most of the gun stores are near empty and have lines out the door. SInce KT's are cheap, they go really fast when any come it.

Check TGT or Gunbroker. Agree with statements that there’s a shortage overall, nothing to do with Kel-Tec. Try getting Glock 17 or 19 gen5 at the local shops as a quick example.
