Robber shot after car chase.

Synopsis

Man holds up liquor store. Clerk coming on duty chases robber in vehicle. Robber's car breaks down. Clerk, on 911, stops some distance away from robber. Robber comes towards clerk. Clerk exit vehicle with deer rifle. Robber commendeers clerk's vehicle. Robber allegedly tries to run over clerk. Clerk perforates robber. Robber dies. Police show up in just a minute.

The media is all over the "castle doctrine" angle...... :???:

Victim's family makes no excuses for robber but says clerk had no right to follow him two miles and kill him.

While I figure the clerk will walk, it shapes up to be an interesting story to follow.
