Navy Federal C U ???
Does anyone know if Navy Federal C U is posted? I've searched on the 30.06 site but can't find anything. They pay better rates so I'd like to use them if they're customer friendly.
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

I don't personally know, but, I have never heard of one that wasn't posted.

ACU is posted only 30.07, same as my bank. I'm hoping Navy is the same but can't find any info on it yet.

I’ve been a Navy Federal member a couple years and have never seen a 30.06, 30.07, or gunbuster sign. But I’ve visited the branches only here in El Paso. I can verify that they’re very friendly.
Re: Navy Federal C U ???
Thank you. That gives me some hope that they will be consistent across Texas and welcome my business here. I've sent them a message inquiring too. We'll see what happens.E10 wrote: Sun Jun 13, 2021 6:29 pm I’ve been a Navy Federal member a couple years and have never seen a 30.06, 30.07, or gunbuster sign. I was in the Keller branch this past Saturday and not posted.

Thank you. I think that pretty much confirms they don't post in Texas. I'm debating between Navy and Marcus, an online option that pays double the interest Navy is paying. A good friend has used Marcus for a few years so they should be ok I think.

I think it's important to have brick and mortar locations for some banking, but that could just be me.

I agree and am keeping my primary account with my local bank. But for 5 times the interest rate I'm putting part of my "parked" money elsewhere.mrbc wrote: Wed Jun 16, 2021 6:46 pm I think it's important to have brick and mortar locations for some banking, but that could just be me.

Through several acquisitions, my wife and I have ended up with CapitalOne. Over the last year, CapOne has been closing branches left and right. Currently, I’d have to drive over half an hour to reach the closest branch. That’s why we are looking for a local branch with a brick and mortar presence. It’s a real irritation, since all of our bills are drafted automatically.LDB415 wrote: Wed Jun 16, 2021 9:30 pmI agree and am keeping my primary account with my local bank. I recently did an auto loan through RBFCU, and I was very pleased with them. If I were going to refinance my mortgage or take out any new loan, I would strongly consider them. They have a decent number of branches throughout DFW, they've got great rates, and their customer service is pretty good.
