Looking for recommendations for a gunsmith for 1911 pistols in the DFW area.

I don't know what part of the metromess you are in, but the guys at 1911 Academy in McKinney are incredible. I have used them several times for repairs, upgrades, etc...
There is no failure here, only varied degrees of success!!

^ I've heard the same. Haven't used them but I have tried out a couple of pistols they've massaged and they were very good.
