Got the K frames out.

Post by HighVelocity »

I am planning a little range trip and broke out the K frames. Top is a 19-3 wearing hard nylon Hogue monogrips (not rubber) and the nickel one is a 19-5 wearing laminated rosewood Hogue monogrips. Both are great shooters and have HighVelocity Custom Shop action jobs. ;-)

I plan to leave no targets un-perforated.

Those are some good looking wheel guns.

Man, I love the model 19, I have a 19-2 with a 8" barrel that my grandfather-in-law gave to me. It is a beautiful gun and even though its older than I am it looks brand new.

Please post a pic of that! I've never seen a 19 with an 8" barrel.

Sorry, I got the model numbers mixed up, I have a 29-2 not a 19-2.

HV,

Interesting! I have a blued Model 19-3 with Hogue rubber grips, and a Model 66 (which is a stainless steel Model 19) with Hogue pau ferro (sp?) grips, so your picture looks fairly familiar. Inherited them from my father. Great guns, I learned to shoot seriously with the Model 19. Fine guns.

LOL 3 Nyclads and 3 of the evil super-deadly black talons.

I have no idea why I do that. I never do it in Semi's.
