Galveston- good places to eat?

Post by Grayling813 »

Wife and I will be spending a week on the beach in Galveston next month. Looking for recommendations on good places to eat, especially fresh seafood.

Not seafood but The Original Mexican Cafe on 14th at Market St. is very good and has been in business over 100 years so definitely doing something right. Gaido's at 39th and Seawall usually tops the seafood list I think.

Wife and I like The Spot on Seawall Blvd. Park behind it in the garage on Ave S. We also like Cajun Greek on 61st.

Shrimp N Stuff Downtown is really good for seafood classics. We go there every time.

Thanks for the recommendations! We're staying in a condo facing the beach along the seawall.

Enjoy your stay! You may want to try Guido's for a more upscale dinner experience. It's on Seawall Blvd.
