Do you have a reference so we can properly debunk or find legitimate?
Pretty hard to debunk events in future predictions, isn't it?

It was just a joke. Pure fabrication. Sorry, guys. Maybe I shouldn't have used the "quote" thingy.

I was thinking that if the UK could start confiscating BB guns, then some of our own anti-gun Dems might find a new twist to foist onto the national agenda...like maybe trying to regulate small rocks and require licensing for your Black & Decker cordless drill.

I'll save it for April Fool's next time... :grin:

Did you write it? It was well written. (I am a writer, so I guess I should know.)

It met the test of good satire: I tried to verify it through Google, and apparently others halfway believed it.

The closest thing to life imitating art was a suggestion that I read a couple of years ago that since many small children drown in buckets of water, buckets should be made with holes in the bottom.

Well, thank ya, Jim.

Actually, it seems most text I touch turns to satire. May be why I never did anything with that MA I got umpteen years ago. :???:

And if Carolyn McCarthy (et al.) takes umbrage: that little nitty was intended solely and exclusively as satire; no reasonable person should interpret it to convey true or factual material, and no disparagement or defamation of named individuals should be construed.

<cough, cough>
