I Love My Wife

Post by SC1903A3 »

Went to Market Hall today. I was planing on just looking and not buying. The wife went with me. I saw this Colt XSE. I told my wife that I wanted to by that model next fall. She replied with "Is it a good deal?" I said that it was. She said to go ahead and buy it. Did I mention that I love my wife.

Very nice Colt. Wives can be handy at times too.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Since getting my wife into handgun shooting last spring, she makes me take her to the gun shows. I almost purchased a Python at the last GS we went to, but for many reasons passed. Earlier this evening, while accompanying me to go pick up my latest handgun acquisition, she mentioned that she wants to shoot one, and that I shouldn't pass up the next one I find.

This is the same wife that purchased an H&K P7 for my birthday present over the summer. I love my wife too.... :cheers2:

I love your wife, too. She has good taste.

I also am privileged to have a better half who would buy me anything in the world. Sadly, we haven't yet hit the lottery. That's why I've had to dissuade her from paying $300~ish for a Utilikilt as my Christmas gift. I'll be happy with a $79 copy of iLife '08.

I got a good one too! she keeps sending me off to tactical schools. She also won't let me sell my harley, after ten years of riding I only take about 4-5 long trips but she thinks I deserive the time away. Some might wonder does she have a boyfriend but she is always SO happy to see me when I return

My wife ain't so bad either. One year she surprised me with a Hammerli 208S in 22LR, complete with a red dot sight. Some say it is the finest Bullseye gun ever made. No argument from me. My only problem these days is that I no longer have any excuses for yanking a shot out of the black.
