Firearms Insurance?

Post by dubya »

Hello, I did a search and did not find anything on firearms insurance.

NRA links firearm insurance for $1.66/$100 but reading their forms/guidelines they have a lot of wants - they want original receipts, they want to be subrogated from your homeowner's insurance..... Their wants make me wonder about the quality of their service.

Over the years the safe has filled up and I don't keep up with paperwork but certainly have pictures, serial numbers, etc. I have also read State Farm may not be gun friendly. Have some of you found good third party firearms insurance?

Thanks,
JW

I had a similar concern about the NRA policy. I have guns that were gifts from family, I could never ever produce a receipt. Let us know if you find a good insurance company.

You can take out a personal articles policy (PAP) through your homeowners policy pretty cheap about 1.00 per 100.00 value a year with no deductible.

Plus NRA 1000 policy with memberhip
