I picked up a magazine for my KT PF9, one of my buddies sold a camo composite Marlin 30/30, then turned around and bought a wood stock model. One buddy bought a couple of holsters, and the other three just brought back sore backs from standing and walking for 3 hours.

It was worth the 120 mile trip

sjones,
Call me so I can pick up the holster. You 've got my number. I am just three miles north of Bigtown!

Schramms is supposed to have quite the selection of used Berettas for sale at better than cheap prices.

Schramms had a great deal on brand new factory Glock magazines for $12 something each for most models, and the Glock factory tac light for $59. I really didn't need either, but couldn't pass on the great prices.

I finally found a Finnish Mosin-Nagant rifle at a price that I could afford.

Goodness, I missed the glock mags and tac lights for $59.00!!I spent most of my time hanging out w/ High Vlelocity..I had fun though and he gave me a deal on 229 holster and mag carrier and a free flashlight for my wife!!
thanks HV and Bigdaddy!

Nothing at all worth buying...

Prices are out of sight... all the prices starting with an "F" for any decent gun... people seem to think their guns are made of forged gold. It was so bad, Nagant revolvers were priced at $189 and CZ52 autos at $200... SIGH... ;-)

Oh well... I have most of what i "need" anyway....

Knew you wouldn't be able to go without buying a gun of some kind.

Sad part is thos deal where about 10yrds north northeast of where HV was sitting.

I saw him there today also. He offered to sell me a IWB holster for my 92FS but I had to pass. If anyone is lookin for one you should send him a PM and see if he still has it. I was there with a friend that picked up a MP40 from Schramms. We tried to see if HighVelocity had a holster for it but after several attempts we couldn't find one. Didn't really look at much else. Sorry I didn't get to meet any more of you guys. My friend was antsy to go shoot his new pistol.

If you were in the market for a handgun, Schramms beat everybody's prices hands down! Just glad we weren't in the market ...

Even so, we went without planning on looking for anything except maybe a couple of new holsters (one for his new Bersa CC and one my new 'old' *colt) - which we did GET from my favorite holster guy (wrbusa.com), PLUS MrFosforos came home with his Finnish antique and his glock goodies (as posted above).

*Fosforos bought the Colt Cobra Carlson had posted a while back -- and gave to me in celebration of my CHL arriving! It's such a beauty!! I've been attracted to Colts, so this was officially the first for my "collection".

Carlson, in case you're reading -- that Colt got a lot of attention! When I checked in and the policeman at the door zip tied it, a guy stopped me before I got in the door asking if I was selling. I smiled and said "no" just shopping for a holster for it. Then when I stopped by a Colt dealer's booth to touch and dream over a Colt Defender. The man was very nice to talk to, so I showed him your gun. His eyes popped out and he transformed into the man on the Antiques Road Show! I estimated from it's serial number it was made around 1967 or so. He whipped out his serial number book and said I was on track -- it was probably from the 1966-67 year range. He was impressed with how well preserved it was. I just smiled again and thanked him (and told Fosforos to but the Defender on my xmas list)!

I go to browse and handle guns I might be interested in. 90% of what is there is overpriced. And for the small stuff, when you add in the $7 ($14 if the wife goes) and the time and gas, it's cheaper to buy online.
