Gulf Coast Gun Show in Victoria last weekend - anyone go??

I had previously attended an R&K show in Victoria that was pitiful.

Gulf Coast Gun Shows is apparently holding several shows at the KC Hall in Victoria this year.

If anyone went to last weekend's, please report on how good the show was.

The fact that I am from Victoria, I have been to the shows at the KC Hall on Ben Wilson and Airline,many times over the years. I have never found anything I took home and generally found the dealers unwilling to deal. Seems over the years that there has been a lot of junk for sale at that gunshow, and not just the guns. I prefer going to one of the gunshows in the Houston area, if nothing else the selection is much better. I also have come home with some deals better than I would have imagined from those shows.

There's another one scheduled for Jan 26-27.

As I stated, the R&K show was pitiful. Still, Gulf Coast is apparently a new promoter and should be given a chance.

As someone who attends every show within the Houston area, I don't disagree with your assessment. However, I like the small shows and used to use them as justification to visit an area I might not otherwise visit. If I drive to Victoria, I'm going to sightsee some along the way, Goliad, etc.

Still, I would like them to offer more than just the very few tables that were at the last R&K show.

I wasn't able to discern if you still live near Victoria.

If you do and you're particularly bored next month, drop in and see if anything's changed and give a review.
