Louisiana---Police arrested an 18-year-old man Thursday after he went the home of a man he had allegedly just robbed, begging the robbery victim to return his gun, police said.
Kendric Cloud robbed the man of his wallet around 7 p.m. in the parking lot of Premier Grocery at 3900 Plank Road, said Sgt. Don Kelly, a Police Department spokesman.
During the robbery, Cloud got distracted by a car horn, giving his victim an opportunity to grab the weapon, Kelly said.
Cloud left without his gun, but about 15 minutes later showed up at the man’s house on Mohican Street, Kelly said.
Cloud knocked on the man’s door and said he would return the wallet if the robbery victim would return the gun, Kelly said.
Instead, Cloud, 714 Juno St., Baker, was arrested and booked into Parish Prison on one count each of armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping.
The suspect must have had alot of motivation to go back and get the gun. Maybe, the fear of the gun owner and not of being arrested.

I always knew that most crooks were pretty stupid , but this is right up there with the dunbest thing i have ever heard . That guy was either so high on crack , he thought he could swap a wallet he stole for a gun he used stealing it or he needs to realise he needs to change his occupation,he isapparently not a good robber
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

Watch the movie Idiocracy then compare the breeding rates of the stupid to the intelligent. Movie was a comedy but is scary when compared to the real world.

Trust me when I tell you that the average person would be amazed at how stupid these types are. As we say in LE - "job security".

yep, I was figuring that it must have been a gang member's gun that he knew he could not return without it. They would have probably killed him. That is why he probably went back. Gang members usually hand these kids a gun and tell them go rob someone and bring back the money and the gun.

Most likely his Dad's gun. More scared of Dad than the police, so maybe he has just a tiny bit of sense.
