I really am looking for an an urban camo in denim colors and textures. Even considered an elastic topped denim envelope to slip over the exposed part of an OWB holster and barrel.dukalmighty wrote:hula skirt
I thought i had that hidden,I'm just wondering if under CHL law i can walk around with that think in plain view due to camouflage being a reasonable attempt to conceal

so i stripped it completely down repainted it without the clear coat, put it under a heat lamp fer 2 hours and am gonna let it dry for at least 24 hurs and see if this job holds up ,if not i may try the wrangler look, thank god i spent 2 years in a galvanizing plant i learned a few things about coating steel, just not enough about painting it i will keep you updated on what may become a lfetime project

Ok new update ,after trying a different clear sealer it is apparent that even tho this paint will work on a shotgun or rifle it will cause the firearm to stick in a holster ,i have a leather iwb and it is imossible to draw the weapon without wiggling and a jerk and in my kydex iwb it has resistace when drawing henceforth i will be stripping it and reblueing it .
