1. Smith and Wesson .38 revolver
2. Ruger 9 mm semiautomatic
3. Lorcin Engineering .380 semiautomatic
4. Raven Arms .25 semiautomatic
5. Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun

Notice 1) a trend and 2) what’s missing?

Yeah, true. But those are 200 dollar plus guns. Half of these retailed for about 63 bucks!

90% of them have pistol grip!!! If we ban all firearm with pistol grip, you would solve 90% of the problem.
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

Please Lord, if I ever have to be in a gunfight with a bad guy, let him be armed with a Raven Arms .25 semiautomatic!!!!!!!!!!! The chances of it going Bang are 50/50 on the  first shot and get worse from there!!!!
It is useless for the Sheep to circulate petitions calling for universal vegetarianism while the Wolves hold a different opinion.

I think the data in the list may be a little older than 2002. One of the general rules of thumb for criminals getting guns is that it will fall into one of two categories. It will be very similar to what the police are issued and carrying, or it will be one of the small cheap easily concealed weapons like the Raven/Bryco.

I know the revolvers used to be very well liked by criminals, but it was my understanding they started switching to Glocks shortly after the police did.

Either way, there are never going to be a lot of assault weapons on the list. Semi-auto AK/SKS clones were fairly popular for a short while for use on drive bys. Pistols are easier to shoot from outside a car window and keep the noise out, so most went back to pistols for this too, IMHO.
