I think you will be very happy with your new PM9. I have the CW9 and it is fun to shoot. I will also be trying to go to the show.

yeah, I'll be thar on Saturday. I don't know how on Gawd's Green Earth they manage it, but I sware EVERY single gunshow falls on a weekend I'm on call.
so anyway, I'm looking to get a Beretta 92, hopefully for around $400, maybe a Ruger .22 for less than $250.... we'll see, doubt I'll find any "good" deals....
watch out for the 30.06 signs!!! hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.
Re: market hall show this weekend
The Marker Hall shows are usually 30.06 posted right?
Re: market hall show this weekend
I bought my PM9 from Gun Zone at the Mesquite show. Best price around and James is very friendly. Mine is a two-tone with night sites. $589 + Tax. Their margin is pretty thin, so there is no dickering on price.sjones wrote:Who is going? I love the trigger on mine. it is long like most DAO guns, but it is smooth and consistant at about 6 lbs pull.
As for 30.06, yes all of the shows are posted.
Enjoy!

Well,I went this am and picked me up a new kahr pm9,went home and cleaned and oiled it good then off to the range with my fingers crossed,I've heard good and bad.I shot 100 wwb,100 reloaded hollow points,15 ranger 147gr,15 federal147gr and it shot great. The only problem I had other than it chewing up my hand,I'm going to order a a-grip,they are great was that on the last shot on either 147 grain the slide didn't lock back.I put another shell in each mag and tried it again and no problem, may by then it was just dirty, home for a good cleaning and oiling. a happy camper.sj
Re: market hall show this weekend
congrats on your new Kahr.
got the M9 I was looking for! It's going to be a gift for my Dad, whom recently retired from the (ch)Air Force. I know, why remind him of it, right?
anyway, found a good deal at Bachman (big surprise) for $399. sure beat SportsMan's WareHouse "closeout" deal of $450, and Schramm's for $420+ depending on if you wanted the M9 replica, or the 92FS.
dealt with Luke, who should be on this forum (probably got kicked off for his sense of humor), but he's a good, and very helpful guy. cause, you know, Bachman needs MY endorsement
anyway, here's my reprint of the Gibb's thing, too. enjoy!
Anyone have any experience with Gibb's (no, not the guy from NCIS) Cleaner, Lubricant, Protectant?
I went by the guy's booth at the GUN SHOW (baby, gun show), at the DMH, and he showed me a Taurus 92 clone that seemed to just float on its rails. I figure, sure, coulda just machined it that loose with a dremel, but I'll give it a shot.
took it home, put it on my XD, and sho' nuff, thing really seemed to work nicely on the rails, making the slide just glide back and fro. it got some gunk off of another gun that I was positive would have to be considered a new part! srsly.
didn't smell too bad, and left a nice sheen (glow, if you will) on the gun, too. hey, doesn't like something shiny, I mean c'mon, you pull your gat, the crook in question goes, "Ooh, something shiny..." you may not even have to do anything else.
back to the point. anyone else heard of this schtuff? seems cool to me! lil expensive, so we'll see how it lasts.
g'day.
