Looks like Chuck should have deleted a lot more emails.

Although, if you remember from Ollie North's testimony before Con-gress, so many years ago, just because you delete an email from your computer doesn't mean it can't be retrieved from the system.

If they ask for the server's record, everyhting is there to read.

If the IT department is on the ball, there should be back up copies out the wazoo, so if Rosenthal left his emails on the server overnight, they should be easy to find. Of course then I read this:
"Take his campaign Web site. It's designed and run by a county employee, who also happens to run the district attorney office's IT department."
So maybe not. Altho the fact that somebody forwarded a bunch of them to the news people means there is a stash somewhere...

Just goes to show you

Make sure you treat your IT guys with respect and keep them well paid

Its amazing the amount of information that people let go thru their computers...and a IT guy that is 1/2 awake can quickly put the hammer on you if he has a grudge
