Good price for stripped AR lowers?

Post by KBCraig »

Bopping around the Texarkana gun show today, I saw a stripped Stag lower for $135, and another brand for slightly less.

What's a good price for stripped lowers?

I got a few stripped stag lowers for $99 from aimsurplus a while back. After shipping and $10 transfer, they came out to about $120 apiece. Since most FFL's charge around $25 to transfer, you may be better off just getting it from the gun show.

By the way, for those in the Houston area, forum member madecov is great for transfers, and only charges $10 per firearm.

I bought three STag lowers from a distributor for $95, $25 [abbreviated profanity deleted] transfer, shipping was $10 for all three.

Sounds like a fair price 'til Hitlery or Os er Obama takes over as supreme ruler.
