Finally!!!

Post by atxbandit »

Check status of app Tuesday and it now says license issued. Called DPS Friday and the lady told me she would fax Travis county to see what the hold up was. Guess that took care of it. Now hopefully my license doesn't get lost in the mail. I'm ready to do the wally walk.

Congrats!

Waiting on the USPS is the hardest part.

When you "know" you're just days away...seems harder than knowing it will be a couple of months.

According to the website, my Application was completed last monday. Since then, the peak of my day has been when I see the mail truck coming down the street, and the low point has been when I didn't find my license in the mail. I called today, 10 days since completion, and was told that the license was mailed on the 15th. For some reason, I've got great hope that it'll be in the mailbox today. If not, my mailman might have a fight on his hands, his fault or not.

I recieved mine 2 days after it was mailed and it was mailed on the 15th also, but when I Email them it took them 6 days to respond to my E-mail so it might take them 6 days to get it from the mail room to the post office.

I hope you get it soon.

Just got home from work and plastic is now in my wallet. I was begining to wonder if this day would ever come. Guess I'll be doing the wally walk tommorow. For those of you still waiting, good luck and hopefully you won't be waiting much longer.

Ain't that the truth? :iagree:
