mystery bullet

Post by NcongruNt »

So I found this on the ground by my rifle bench at the range and don't know what it is. Can someone enlighten me? It seems to be .50 caliber, and the green parts are plastic. Here are the pictures:

It looks to me to be a sabot for a .50 black powder rifle.

It appears to be a WMD, I believe you should notify the government of its existence immediately.:

Only a guess, but looks like a .50cal black powder round.

I wonder if they make them for reloading 12 gauge slugs like that? Be neat in a rifled slug gun.

I agree, it is a WMD (Weapon of Medieval Distruction) They DID use black powder weapons back then! "rlol"

That is a PowerBelt sabot bullet for a muzzleloader.
Them things is pricey. Kind of surprised Jeremiah Wannabe Johnson left it.
