It's supposedly the most powerful handgun in the world?

if that was my gun , I would beat that guy for dropping it, I have fired some Hand cannons and Yes they have hurt but I have never dropped one yet. I have fire the 500S&W and the 475 Wildey Mag. and I have shot a few sawed off shotguns that where pistol griped with 3"mag Slugs.

to answer your question I have no idea what it is but the recoil should of been controlable ,its just real bad grip on the gun did him in.

Shooting a 600 Nitro Express out of a heavy rifle produces enormous recoil.
Ballistics:
  • Bullet Weight: 900 grains (58.3 g)
  • At muzzle:
    • Velocity: 1850 ft/s or 1950 ft/s
    • Energy: 7591 ft·lbf (10.29 kJ)
Expecting to be able to do that out of a handgun weighing perhaps 25% of the rifle's weight and without a butt stock against a shoulder is an exercise in idiocy, and the guy was being unsafe. I hope he damaged the gun enough to render it unusable.

Just my 2¢.

I hate to be a "stick in the mud", but this is one of the most irresponsible stunts involving a firearm I have ever seen.

It appears "the shooter" was put up to it.

It is painfully clear that he has no idea how to hold the weapon.

His support arm is locked while his strong side is bent (with elbow raised no less). His head is back over his waist instead of leaning into the recoil. This is a recipe for disaster and someone in attendance knew it.

This is an extremely powerful gun with recoil that would be difficult for anyone to manage. It is a miracle that this person was not seriously injured when the pistol bounced off of his face.

NOT funny at all. :nono:

Hopefully the pistol was marred enough to make the owner think twice before pulling another stunt like this one.

It is a one shot wonder. One shot and you wonder where in the heck the gun flew to.

That is the most ridiculous pistol I have seen yet.

Seriously, what fool developed that? However the greater fool is the person who wants to shoot it.

One thing I have noticed about utube, it is full of stupid stuff.

IMO videos like this give shooters a bad name and provide more ammunition for gun control advocates. The shooter was obviously "set up" to do something unsafe and catch him on video.

It's the kind of stuff you only see Lou Costello do in fictional comedy movies.

Hilarious to watch in and of itself. :smilelol5: "rlol"

Not something I would let anyone do,
Not something you would recommend doing,
Yes, Youtube is full of stupid stuff...but funny nevertheless (although there are a lot of airheads out there wanting just that kind of attention out of it....potentially at the cost of their lives.)

600 nitro is the same caliber as the one in the video.
