Re: Speaking of Crufflers, What ya got?
Not sure if what I have counts, though your list is certainly interesting.
I have an '03 that someone sporterized probably before I was born. The number indicates it's birth in 1928 and I had a gunsmith check it out before using it. As you can imagine, I wish it were still in original shape.
My other military rifle is one of the Imbel FALs.
I've wanted to get my hands on one of the Ishapore .308s but haven't seen one that I really had to put money into.

Re: Speaking of Crufflers, What ya got?
I have the M44, and a couple of things I've inherited. My coyote cannon is a 1917 Enfield that was sporterized before I got it, so it doesn't count, though it does a nice job of making big holes in stuff.
Still waiting for my C&R license to be issued, though. How long does it usually take?

Mine actually took about 10 weeks. But I have heard of some incredible short turnarounds.
Discussed here:

Turnarounds from 16 days to 4 months.

Re: Speaking of Crufflers, What ya got?
My main interest is Lee-Enfields, so I have a good mix of No.I and No.4. No Ishies or No.5's nor .22 trainers (yet).
Others:
Swiss K-31
Polish M44 (Radom)
Polish Wz.48 (.22 trainer)
French MAS-36 and MAS-36/51
Turkish M1938 Mauser (Ankara)
Austro-Hungarian M95/34 (Steyr)
EG Makarov
Non-military, I have a number of .22 rifles that are 50+, and a Ruger Standard Auto (Mk.I) that is probably 50+.

Re: Speaking of Crufflers, What ya got?
The first time I applied for my C&R it took a while. After six weeks I called the Atlanta Office and in my sweetest voice asked for the status of my application. They dug thru a pile of applications and found mine. I had my piece of paper a week later.
Re: Speaking of Crufflers, What ya got?
The first time I called them, I only got the answer that the application was processing. After I had patiently waited for about four months, I called again. The second time I got the same thing, and I asked if I could get a ballpark figure of how long it would take. I was then transferred to the guy who was handling Texas applications. I asked him the same thing, and I could hear him shuffling through papers. Finally he said "You should have your license next week" and I did get it in the mail the following week.SC1903A3 wrote:The first time I applied for my C&R it took a while. So it seems like it pays to call them.
Oh, and my only C&R piece is a Finn M39, which I bought before I got the license.
