I used to live in one. My back porch was literally ten feet from the fence that seperated the Apt complex and the skewl.
always thought it would be funny (and by funny, I mean I would be the only one laughing) to sit out on my back porch and clean mah gunses.

Under federal law, it's legal to have a firearm in your residence if your residence is in a school zone. However, as you know, that's a good way to get the SWAT team to visit.
