Coolest wife ever?

Post by M9FAN »

It's Valentine's Day and, while most men are preparing for a nice, romantic dinner with their wives, I'm scratchin' my head as to why my wife hasn't succumbed to this commercial farce known as Valentine's Day. Huh, you say? Check this out: two nights ago the wife and I were having dinner together when she - out of the blue - reiterated her anti-Valentine's Day position ("another money-making holiday", she says) and suggested that we go out to the range tonight to send some led down range. (Talk about a man nearly breaking down!) :woohoo

What say you; is this one of the hippest women around? I now know first-hand the meaning of marrying-up! :biggrinjester:

Sounds like yours and mine were cut from the same cloth. We're shooting an IDPA match together tonight. :tiphat:

I think the best Valentine's gift you can give is spending time together and to spend it slinging lead down range with your better half is to COOL :fire

Heck, I bought my wife this gun for Valentine's day... ...and she LOVED it!!

I married above my station too. It seems there a few of us lucky guys around here.

Dumb luck, I guess. Lord knows that a man who looks like me doesn't deserve a woman like that!

Dude,
My wife deserves WAY better than me. For some odd reason she loves me and keeps me around. :woohoo We have a standing rule, Valentines day is just the 14th of Feb. I usually break it and buy her flowers though. This year, she got a new Dishwasher. OK Ok, it is pure coincidence that ours was broken and we had some extra money come in on Monday, but HEY, She is cool with it.

Sad thing is, though my wife loves V-day and is not really into guns, I still married way up.

And to add a story, forget valentines day, my wife made me take her to Hooters on our honeymoon night  so she could watch the game.

I will bring her flowers though, just in case :thumbs2:

Mine agrees with just another reason to spend money day. A card and dinner and she is fine.

I married waaaaay up the ladder though. And she even likes guns too.

I beat you guys -- today is my wedding anniversary. Y'all still have that to worry about, but I knock 'em both out in one shot. (She does get two cards, though.)

She'd kill me if I spent $70-100 on flowers, so we had a nice lunch at IHOP today with the kiddos -- including the one who was conceived 6 years ago tonight.

I believe I have the coolest gal. She is the one who paid for my RIA Compact as a Valentine's present. I proposed this past Sunday and she said "YES!!" Hopefully have time to go to the range this Sunday coming up.

Okay, I just have to post something about my Valentine who is my world! We celebrated by going to the range and having a great time doing some IDPA practice. Earlier, I surprised him with some chocolates at work just to let him know how special he is! Image
