So, I thought since I would be getting my CHL license in the mail sooner rather than later (crossing my fingers), that I really ought to have a lawyer's contact information stuffed in my wallet, heaven forbid I ever end up needed to use my firearm for defense. Does anyone have experience in this area, or can recommend a good lawyer? I'd rather just have it so I can tell the cops I would like to wait for a lawyer before making any statements post-incident
Not trying to be paranoid, just trying to be prepared.
PM me if you'd rather do that then post a reply.

Re: Legal representation in the Dallas area?
I posted about this awhile ago. I chose J. Michael Price in downtown dallas. Very near AAC and across from the Rolex Building. He will meet with you and talk to you about what to do if you ever need him. Coach you on what to say and what not to say.
His retainer fee is $2000.00 He doesn't care if you retain him or not. The advantage to officially retaining him is he can spring you from jail faster and go to work immediately even if you don't have cash on hand to get started on your defense.
